Jonathan Zweifel, BS, CFP
Jonathan has dedicated his life to serving his community, consistently holding a number of volunteer service positions with nonprofit organizations as well as his faith tradition. He developed a passion for the behavioral health field while assisting close family members in the process of recovery. Jonathan also brings a wealth of knowledge to the CFO position as a graduate of ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business and extensive experience in finance industry.
Michael has been a professional in the behavioral health field for many years and has a passion for helping those struggling with addiction. His personal experiences have given him a working knowledge of what it takes to recover from addiction as well as what it means to be a productive member of the community. His experience, paired with his concern for the wellbeing of each and every addict, is evident in his interactions with those he is seeking to help.
Alexandra, a Phoenix native, has a BS in Physiology and a Psychology minor from the University of Arizona. She received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Northern Arizona University’s Phoenix Biomedical campus. During her education, she spent her time student volunteering in free medical clinics, and later worked as a PA with the homeless population in Maricopa County. In these environments, she became familiar with the devastating effects of untreated addiction and was compelled to pursue continuing education in addiction medicine and behavioral health. She is passionate about erasing the stigma associated with addiction and working collaboratively with her patients to achieve sustained recovery.
Outside of work, Alexandra regularly practices yoga, snuggles with her furry friends, spends as much time as she can outdoors, and loves exploring new restaurants and coffee shops with her husband, Ben.
Jacqueline Zengler MA, LPC, NCC serves as the Clinical Director at Archways Recovery Centers. As a Licensed Professional and Nationally Certified Counselor, she has worked as a primary therapist in medication assisted treatment and general mental health programs in an outpatient, non-profit setting. Additionally, she has experience working in both intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization levels of care. Jacqueline specializes in addiction treatment and trauma, and has extensive training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and Mindfulness. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and is currently working on her certification.
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Indiana University, and her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University Phoenix.
Jacqueline maintains a strong belief that everyone has the capacity to overcome suffering of both the body and mind, and utilizes a strengths-based, holistic approach in helping clients on this journey.
When away from work Jacqueline spends her time with her husband and three cats. She enjoys going to the waterpark, playing tabletop games, camping, and watching movies.
Rebekah A. Dwyer
Rebekah A. Dwyer, LAC acts as Primary Therapist at Archways Recovery Centers, facilitating Intensive Outpatient (IOP) groups and meeting with clients for individual therapy on a weekly basis. She has been working as a professional in the mental health field for six years and specifically with addicts/alcoholics for the past two years. She has experience working with clients who have a serious mental illness (SMI) on an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team as the addiction specialist. Rebekah is currently completing her basic training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, which is an extremely effective treatment for trauma.
Rebekah holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Arizona State University.
Rebekah has experienced what it is like to be in recovery from addiction and she is passionate about helping others who seek recovery and are willing to better their lives through this process. She also believes in the importance of addressing the underlying issues associated with substance abuse, mental health disorders, and trauma.
When away from work Rebekah enjoys spending time with her dog and her family. Rebekah enjoys working out and working a strong recovery program by keeping in contact with her sponsor and attending 12 step meetings.
Jennifer Mullin serves as the Case Manager for Archways Recovery Centers, helping clients with putting their lives back together outside of therapy. She has 2.5 years of experience working in Addiction Treatment. She loves getting to help others turn their lives around, and watching their journey toward becoming happy, sober individuals.
Jennifer is also in recovery from addiction, and has been sober for 6 years. She believes that her own experience overcoming addiction helps her to relate to clients and facilitate them in overcoming obstacles that she has also navigated.
Outside of work, Jennifer attends Rio Salado College and majors in Business Administration. She loves to travel and explore new places, enjoys the outdoors, playing videogames, watching netflix, and spending time with friends and family.
Gilbert Mejia is the client relations staff member for Archways Recovery Centers, giving tours to incoming clients to help acclimate them and insure that they are comfortable and informed about the program. He works closely with the management staff and also provides support as an administrative assistant.
Gilbert has several years of experience in the Behavioral Health field, holding positions ranging from BHT, Admissions, Marketing, and Client Relations.
Outside of work, Gilbert is an avid reader and enjoys movie premiers. He also likes to travel and watch college football. He also participates in 12 step functions and is enthusiastic about recovery.
